Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Nepal

   The itinerary of Rara Lake motorbike tour starts today. When you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), Trekking Trail Nepal will be there to pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. Once you reach and check into the hotel, you will have free time to relax so that you adjust yourself to Kathmandu atmosphere far away from your home. You can wander around. They will be giving you some guidance on how to do that if you feel the need of. You will have an orientation session about the trip in the evening.

2. Day 2: Ride from Kathmandu to Lumbini or Bhairahawa (292 kilometers / 181 miles / 8-9 hours)

   It is the first-day ride on this trip. Your Royal Enfield motorbikes will be all ready to thunder past different towns and cities on your ride to Lumbini today. The adventure will begin after breakfast in the morning and head toward the destination. About nine hours of motorbike ride will take you through different towns and cities and beautiful landscapes to enjoy. The highway that stretches along River Trishuli will take you to Narayangadh to meet the southern plains of Nepal before the highway stretches toward Lumbini. 3. Day 3: Highway ride from Lumbini to Kohalpur (270 kilometers / 168 miles / 5-7 hours)

   The second-day ride of Rara Lake motorbike tour is to Kohalpur in western Nepal from Lumbini. This 270-kilometer stretch of the -highway brings you the awesome southern rural life of Nepal. About seven hours of easy-paced ride will allow you more time to soak into the beauty of towns, villages, and the surroundings. Your overnight stay is at Kohalpur today.

4. Day 4: Motorbike ride to Manma from Kohalpur (250 kilometers / 155 miles)

   From today onward, your ride is particularly Karnali bound with your ultimate destination as Rara Lake. You will head to Manma, the district headquarters of Kalikot, today on a 250-kilometer stretch of motorable road. The ride today will introduce you to the remoteness of the western hills of Nepal. The ruggedness of the landscape with tough terrain makes an impression of difficult life living there. As the road is narrow and off road, your speed is slow and careful, but at the same time, you will have plenty of time to absorb and soak into the reality of the surroundings.

5. Day 5: Manma to Talcha Airport (150 kilometers / 93 miles)

   This is the second day of off-roading toward Rara Lake, and you will head to Talcha for an overnight stay. Another day of exploring the wilderness of the region is due today. You will ride about 150 kilometers to Talcha today that lies close to Rara Lake. People who choose not to drive or ride fly to this place from Nepalgunj and trek to Rara.

6. Day 6: Trek to Rara Lake

   The riding part of this journey is up to Talcha only. You will trek to Rara Lake that is just a short trek on a beautiful trekking trail. When you reach Rara Lake, you will be mesmerized by the beauty of the peaceful and massive lake. You will settle on the bank of the beautiful Rara Lake and soak into the beauty. The day is well spent at the lake and its surroundings.

7. Day 7: Rara to Surkhet (270 kilometers / 168 miles).

   Early in the morning, as the lake casts fresh and peaceful air upon you, you will trek down to Talcha. And the riding adventure begins again. You will head to Surkhet today on another off-roading trip. You will reach Surkhet in the evening to relax and finish the off-road trip on the journey.

8. Day 8: Surkher to Butwal via Kohalpur (310 kilometers / 193 miles)

   Although the highway stretch is long, today, it is going to be an easy ride. Your ride will go past Kohalpur to Butwal. Butwal is a beautiful city along the east-west highway of Nepal closer to Lumbini. You will spend the night in Butwal.

9. Day 9: Butwal to Kathmandu (282 kilometers / 175 miles)

   You will ride back to Kathmandu along the same highway that you took to ride to Lumbini on the second day of the tour. It will be another seven-hour ride to Kathmandu.

10. Day 10: End of the tour

    As the final day of Rara Lake motorbike tour, it is time to say goodbye. You will be transferred to the airport for your final departure flight per your flight schedule.
