In the evening, we’ll head out for a test ride around the city, adjusting to the local terrain and conditions. This short ride allows you to get comfortable with the bike and acclimatize to Nepal's traffic rules and road conditions. You'll get a chance to explore a few Kathmandu valley highlights as well. This day sets the stage for the adventure ahead.

  2. Day 02: Ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara (800m) - 210 km / 130 miles, 7-8 hours. (B)

Today, we kickstart the journey with a scenic ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The 210 km route takes about 7-8 hours, with a blend of smooth highways and winding roads through picturesque landscapes. As we ride along the Prithvi Highway, you'll enjoy views of lush valleys, terraced fields, and flowing rivers. En route, there are stopovers for authentic Nepali cuisine and photo opportunities. Pokhara, known for its serene Phewa Lake and the stunning Annapurna mountain range views, is the perfect resting point after a long day of riding.

  3. Day 03: Ride from Pokhara to Kalopani - 125 km / 77 miles, 5-6 hours. (B)

Leaving Pokhara, we begin our ascent toward the Annapurna region. The ride to Kalopani covers around 125 km, taking about 5-6 hours, and includes sections of rough terrain and gravel roads, giving a true taste of off-road motorbiking in Nepal. As we move higher, the air gets cooler, and the mountain views become more prominent. Kalopani, located at the foothills of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, is a peaceful village with striking views and a blend of Tibetan and Thakali cultures. Kalopani lodges offer a warm and cozy retreat after a thrilling ride.

  4. Day 04: Ride from Kalopani to Muktinath via Kagbeni - 47 km / 29, 2-3 hours.

This shorter ride of about 47 km brings us to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site nestled high in the Himalayas. The journey passes through Kagbeni, a quaint village known for its ancient monasteries and views of Mount Nilgiri. The road from Kagbeni to Muktinath is rugged and challenging, making it a memorable part of the adventure. Muktinath holds religious significance for both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims and offers a unique spiritual experience amidst awe-inspiring mountain scenery. The Muktinath Temple and its 108 water spouts are key highlights here.

  5. Day 05: Ride from Muktinath to Tatopani - 70 km / 43 miles, 4-5 hours.

After a peaceful morning at Muktinath, we descend toward Tatopani, covering about 70 km over 4-5 hours. The route takes us through the beautiful Kali Gandaki Gorge, one of the world's deepest canyons, providing dramatic views of towering cliffs and flowing rivers. Tatopani, meaning "hot water" in Nepali, is famous for its natural hot springs. After a long day of riding, relaxing in the warm pools is a treat for tired muscles, offering rejuvenation and a chance to interact with locals and other trekkers in the area.

  6. Day 06: Ride from Tatopani to Pokhara - 102 km / 63 miles, 4-5 hours.

Today’s journey takes us back to Pokhara, with a ride of 102 km that lasts about 4-5 hours. The route combines scenic views with relatively smoother roads as we descend from the highlands back to the lush valleys. As you arrive in Pokhara, you’ll have time to explore more of the city's attractions, like Lakeside Pokhara, known for its vibrant restaurants and cafes.
