Itinerary
Day 1: Queenstown - Mavora Lakes - Special Breakout - Nokomai Station
- Start with a private barge crossing. Ride gravel tracks through Mavora Lakes to remote backcountry. Finish the day in luxury at Nokomai Lodge.
Day 2: Nevis - Old Woman Hut - Waikaia Bush - Lake Roxburgh
- Cross NZ’s longest 4WD road, ride alpine ridges and reach hidden huts before descending into the lakeside heaven of Roxburgh.
Day 3: Lake Onslow - Serpentine - Poolburn - Danseys Pass
- An epic day: remote tracks, hidden churches, cinematic passes. Finish in the iconic Danseys Pass Coach Inn.
Day 4: Hakataramea Valley - Tekapo Canals - Twizel
- Water crossings, big skies, turquoise lakes and views of Mt Cook. Overnight in Twizel, heart of the hydro region.
Day 5: Omarama Saddle - St Bathans - Thompson Gorge - Wanaka - Queenstown
- Rugged backcountry to historic towns. Ride ends with Skippers Canyon and sunset views. Longest & most epic day.
