Itinerary
Day 1:
You will depart from Cusco heading northeast where you will pass by the villages of Chinchero, Urubamba, and Ollantaytambo. From here, you will take the road to Quillabamba crossing the Málaga Pass (4,315 meters above sea level). At this point, you will stop to appreciate the beautiful landscape, mountains, and snow-peaked mountains. You will descend going through the villages of Huayopata, Huyro, and Santa Maria until you find the Vilcanota River. Then, you will continue your ride and take the train at “Hidroelectrica” train station where you will leave the motorcycles and equipment behind. Y
Day 2:
Early, the second day, you will take a bus to the Inca City of Machu Picchu. Together with your cultural guide, you will get to know the city in about 4 hours. You will be able to see the “Intiwatana” (solar clock) and the different parts and spaces around this amazing city considered on the list of the seven wonders of the world.
Day 3:
Very early in the morning, you will take the train heading towards “Hidroelectrica”. After arrival, you will take your bikes and equipment heading towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Here, you will be able to appreciate the archeological sites of Pisaq, Moray, and the Maras salt mines and later, you will continue your tour to the village of Chinchero, famous for its Inca textile work. Finally, you will continue heading towards Cusco.

Adventure as promised
We had an amazing experience riding, from Cusco to Machu Picchu, through the spectacular Sacred Valley. Cesar was very accommodating from the beginning and found a smaller motorcycle that I could ride (I'm only just over 5 ft tall). Juan, our guide, was fantastic and patient, allowing us to spend time exploring ruins, local markets and restaurants. Cusco Moto Tour took care of all aspects of booking including a local, English speaking guide, the train and bus tickets to Machu Picchu. It was an epic adventure!
