Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Arrival

    It’s your arrival day with a welcome dinner and the first contact with the motorcycles which will lead you along the most beautiful landscapes!

  2. Day 2: Lisbon to Coimbra (363 kilometers / 226 miles)

    The adventure begins in Lisbon. You will ride from Belém to Cascais by the riverside on the way to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost extent of mainland Portugal and continental Europe, and the romantic Sintra often referred to as the city of love. North is your first direction, as you hit the back roads of the Center-West Atlantic coast, passing through fishermen and surfers' villages (Peniche and Nazaré) and vast fruit orchards.   3. Day 3: Coimbra to Porto (210 kilometers / 130.5 miles)

    This day is dedicated to Europe’s next food and wine mecca, Porto. It will be a small ride by the seaside and then a very tasty tour! You will be sure to taste all the delicacies prepared by the little eateries and small restaurants that make up the Porto food scene.

  4. Day 4: Porto to Alfandega da Fe (235 kilometers / 146 miles)

    You make your way up the Douro Valley following every turn of the river in a discovery of the world’s oldest and certainly most beautiful wine region in the world. Adding to this landscape, ride the Portuguese national road number 222 (Régua to Pinhão) which has been recognized by a number of travel and motorcycle rental companies as the best riding road of the world. Studies say that the road has the perfect value of 10-1, which means every 10 seconds spent in a straight line are followed by 1 second in a turn.   5. Day 5: Alfandega da Fe to Braganca (362 kilometers / 225 miles)

    You are at the end of the Douro, right next to the border with Spain, you continue your trip to the north, to the forgotten, and unexplored Portugal of Trás-os-Montes (literally translated as behind the mountains). Here, you will travel through a Portugal that stood still in time for decades. You will feel your motorcycle winding up between this nature as pure as it can be. This journey of pure air ends in Bragança and its castle and you will feel ten years younger!

  6. Day 6: Braganca to Moncao (291 kilometers / 181 miles)

    Today, you will have a magic ride through the national park of Peneda-Gerês, then extend from the plateau of Castro Laboreiro to the plateau of Mourela, covering the mountain ranges of Peneda, Soajo, Amarela, and Gerês. Discover this vast amphitheater sculptured by geological formations, winds, and water. From the ride on the mountain, you’ll see the effects of the last glaciation, find the locals in the traditional village, and indulge in the local cuisine.     The return to the seaside is going to be your last day and meet Viana do Castelo, the Atlantic city further north in Portugal. The presence of the river, mountain, and sea makes this city with the best landscapes. The streets and alleys attract your attention for their characteristic facades with mosaics that are an important feature of Portuguese architecture. Your last lunch will be in the historic city of Barcelos, with its important Gothic medieval bridge, dating back to the fourteenth century, and the rooster of Barcelos as an element that identifies both this region and the entire nation
