Overview
On this tour, you ride from Cape Town to Windhoek (or reverse) on a rugged adventure motorcycle journey. From Cape Town you travel north up the rugged west coast through the Cederberg and then Namaqualand regions until we reach the Richtersveld National Park on the Orange (Gariep) River, the border between South Africa and Namibia. Once over the river, the real magic begins. The spectacular Fish River Canyon awaits. The world's second largest canyon (the largest being the Grand Canyon in the USA) and then into the Namib Desert. The Namib Desert is between 55 & 80 million years old, making it the oldest desert in the world. Located in the desert are the world's most celebrated and photographed sand dunes at Sossusvlei. Food
All lodges and overnights include bed & breakfast. Dinner is included on both nights at Sossusvlei. All other meals are available at lodge restaurants or local eateries but are not included in the price package.
Getting There
This guided motorcycle tour takes place in South Africa and Namibia. Starting in Cape Town, you will then head to Vanrhynsdorp, Okiep, Felix Unite Provenance, and Fish River Canyon. From there, you continue the journey to Klein Aus Vista, Sossusvlei, and Swakopmund, and end the tour in Windhoek, Namibia.
