Itinerary
Day 1: South Korea Welcome to Seoul!
Welcome to Seoul, a city where deep history and modern life come together. It is an exciting starting point to experience Korean food and culture up close. In the evening, you will enjoy a welcome dinner with the group and go over the tour flow and riding style for the days ahead.
Day 2: Seoul - Inje
Leave the cityscape behind and follow tranquil rivers and forest-lined roads into Korea’s scenic interior. As the landscape opens up with valleys and low mountains, the ride becomes both fluid and energizing. The day ends with local flavors and a peaceful stay in a quiet alpine-style village.
Day 3: Inje - Gangneung
A dramatic shift in scenery unfolds as you ride from misty ridgelines to the wide-open East Sea. Along the way, explore a local market full of color and energy, before settling in at a laid-back coastal town for the night.
Day 4: Gangneung - Danyang
Trade ocean breezes for winding mountain roads as you ride inland through forested valleys and hidden river corridors. The day ends in a peaceful town known for dramatic limestone cliffs and local cuisine.
Day 5: Danyang - Gyeongju
Ride through tranquil countryside shaped by centuries of tradition, with a stop to glimpse timeless village life. The day winds down in a historic former capital where ancient culture meets quiet charm.
Day 6: Gyeongju (Rest day)
Today is a rest day from riding, with a full block of free time. Explore the main historic sites, or simply enjoy quiet streets and cafés at your own pace while you recharge. It is a chance to reset both body and mind for the days ahead.
Day 7: Gyeongju - Tongyeong
Cruise south through flowing inland roads, gradually approaching the sea. The day ends in a charming port town where ocean views and coastal calm await.
Day 8: Tongyeong - Yeosu
Follow winding coastal roads shaped by sea and sky, passing island views and quiet fishing villages. The day ends in a romantic harbor town where the ocean sets the tone.
Day 9: Yeosu - Gumi
Leaving the coast, head inland on winding roads that climb steadily toward a panoramic mountain viewpoint. After taking in the expansive scenery, continue through peaceful valleys to visit a centuries-old temple known for its cultural significance.
Day 10: Gumi - Chungju
Carve through forested mountain roads and pause to take in views of winding switchbacks below. The ride ends near a quiet town known for its relaxing hot spring heritage—a welcome reward after a full day on the bike.
Day 11: Chungju - Seoul
The last day on the road takes you past calm lakes and rolling hills as you return toward the city at a relaxed pace. Back in Seoul, gather for a farewell dinner to celebrate the journey you have shared.

Regular Korean meals are provided during the Korea Grand Ride tour. Breakfast and lunch are included throughout the tour, and selected dinners are also included to give riders a chance to enjoy local Korean cuisine. Meals are usually arranged at local restaurants, hotels, or carefully selected stops along the route, depending on the daily schedule and region. Water is provided during riding days, and coffee or tea may be available depending on the meal stops or accommodation. Alcoholic beverages are not included, especially during riding days.
