Itinerary
Day 1
Phrao Outdoor will pick you up at your hotel / accommodation. On your way to Phrao, you ride along dual tracks to the Mae Kuang Dam and cross the Teak Forests of Ban Pa Sak Ngam on stunning trails. After a stretch on paved roads, you continue along an amazing trail winding through mango and longan orchards, wooded areas, and hilly farmland to the Phrao Valley. The surrounding peaks of the Sri Lanna National Park guarantee scenic views. Day 2
In the morning, you explore the chambers of the famous Chiang Dao Cave. After this excursion, you follow the twisty paved road along the Ping River for 15 kilometers to turn in on rural roads and unpaved tracks that bring us to the Mae Ngat Dam and to the Buatong Waterfall. After a short break, you head back home along amazing dirt tracks and trails in the hills bordering the Chiang Mai Valley.

Very beautiful sceneries during the ride, enjoyed the off road sections as well. Hermann is an excellent guide, knows the area very well, and able to choose the easy trails for me, being a beginner to off road riding. Bike was well maintained, no issues throughout the ride. Accommodation and food was great during the overnight stay too. Overall, enjoyed the 2 days ride. Would be back again maybe for longer rides. Definitely recommend Hermann to anyone thinking about booking motorcycle tours in Chiangmai.
