Your journey begins in vibrant Anchorage, nestled at the foot of the mighty Chugach Mountains. Soak up the cosmopolitan atmosphere of this city that, while the urban heart of Alaska, is already in constant dialogue with the surrounding wilderness. You will head to your hotel to meet the group and your guide, ready to dive into the adventure.
You leave Anchorage, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the city to head north to conquer Mount Denali, the giant of North America, towering at 6,190 meters above sea level. Crossing dense forests and following crystal-clear rivers, you follow the paths of the first pioneers who dared to challenge these wild and untamed lands.
Today you tackle the legendary Denali Highway, an incredible 125-mile drive through the raw, pristine wilderness of Alaska. The imposing silhouette of Mount Denali looms behind you as you make your way to Paxson, your haven for the night.
Head to Chicken, a small village nestled in the Wrangell Mountains. Founded in 1896 during the feverish Klondike Gold Rush, this hamlet, despite its picturesque name, was a crucial place in the history of gold prospecting in Alaska.
This morning, you hit the legendary Top of the World Highway, an aptly named trail that connects Alaska to Canada. As you enter Klondike territory, the epic gold rush comes alive in Dawson City. Founded in 1896, this city seems frozen in time.
Take this day to discover the timeless charm of Dawson City or explore the wild Tombstone Valley.
The Wrangell Mountains greet you again as you resume your drive to Tok. The trails, marked by the vagaries of the permafrost, trace your winding route to southern Alaska.
You continue your descent towards the south of Alaska, crossing endless expanses where glaciers, dense forests, and shimmering lakes accompany your route.
Today you venture to McCarthy, founded in 1906. A long trail leads you to this timeless place, surrounded by the glaciers of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, the largest in the United States.
The majestic Chugach Mountains and the calming waters of the Gulf of Alaska greet you in Valdez. Along the way, you pass the spectacular Worthington Glacier, whose peaks soar to over 6,500 feet.
Early in the morning, you board the ferry to Whittier. This crossing, much more than a simple journey, will allow you to truly appreciate the magnitude of the landscapes you have explored. Once at the dock, you take the road back to Anchorage, where this epic journey began. Return of the motorcycles upon arrival in Anchorage, then transfer to the hotel for a final night in Alaska.
Depending on your return flight, enjoy a little more time in Anchorage. After this memorable adventure, it's time to go home!
