Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Hanoi International Airport - Hotel (29 kilometers / 18 miles)

    - Driving time: 50 minutes Arrival at Hanoi International Airport, pick up and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, you will meet and greet the fellow riders. There will be leisure time to explore the unique local market with different foods and goods. In the evening, bikes will be allotted along with an orientation with the guide and mechanic. Dinner at the hotel.

  2. Day 2: Hanoi - Mai Chau (140 kilometers / 87 miles)

    - Riding time: 5 hours 30 minutes Morning will begin with breakfast in the hotel, and then you will embark on your journey via Hoa Binh and ride up to Pu Luong (Bá Thước, Thanh Hoá). The group will have lunch in a local restaurant on the way. Post lunch, you will ride into the small villages and luscious paddy fields and rice terraces, before arriving in Mai Chau. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Little Mai Chau Homestay.

  3. Day 3: Mai Chau - Ta Xua (170 kilometers / 106 miles)

    - Riding time: 6 hours Post breakfast, you proceed to Hang Kia, Pa Co village to visit the ethnic tribe community and then ride to Moc Chau and see the landscaped and mesmerising tea plantations. Lunch will be in Moc Chau. After lunch, you ride to Van Yên ferry terminal and take a ferry to cross the river and continue to Ta Xua. Check in upon arrival, and tonight you will stay in Ta Xua Ecolodge. Dinner in the hotel.

  4. Day 4: Ta Xua - Mu Cang Chai (165 kilometers / 103 miles)

    - Riding time: 6 hours After a good breakfast from Ta Xua, you ride through the scenic mountains to Tram Tau and continue to Nghia Lo. Here you will stop for lunch in a local restaurant and make some memories by taking pictures. After, you proceed to Mu Cang Chải and check into the authentic huts and are greeted by the family who runs this lovely resort. Get mesmerised by the local musical instrument and singing by the family while having dinner. Overnight stay in Hello Mu Cang Chai.

  5. Day 5: Mu Cang Chai - Sa Pa (160 kilometers / 100 miles)

    - Riding time: 5 hours 30 minutes You start the day with breakfast and fuel yourself. From Mu Cang Chai, you ride through the scenic village and go to Than Uyen. You stop for some magnificent views of the villages and have lunch in a dhaba run by the ethnic locals, and ride up to Sa Pa Heaven Gate to see the silver waterfalls and ride to Sa Pa. This town is more modernised than your earlier stays, famous for its nightlife, cafés, and lounge bars. Dinner and overnight in Sa Pa Hotel.

  6. Day 6: Sa Pa - Ha Giang (240 kilometers / 150 miles)

    - Riding time: 6 hours 30 minutes After breakfast in Sa Pa, you ride down to Pho Rang and leave for your next destination, Ha Giang. You have lunch on the way to Nghia Do, Quang Binh, Viet Quang and arrive in Ha Giang. Ha Giang is a rugged and remote province in Northern Vietnam, bordering China. It is known for its breathtaking mountain scenery, ethnic minority villages, and adventurous activities like trekking and motor biking. Dinner and overnight in the resort at Ha Giang.

  7. Day 7: Ha Giang - Dong Van (150 kilometers / 94 miles)

    - Riding time: 5 hours After having breakfast, you ride to Quan Ba and enter heaven’s gate. This is known to be so for the formation of the heavenly twin mountains. You then visit Lung Tam handicapped village and ride to Yen Minh. After lunch, you ride to Sung La, visit Vương palace and Lung Cu flag pillar, and move to Đông Van after crossing Mapileeng Pass. Upon reaching Dong Van, you check into the hotel for dinner and overnight. This village is right at the border of China and is famous for having its own rules of the locals.   8. Day 8: Dong Van - Ba Be Lake (215 kilometers / 134 miles)

    - Riding time: 7 hours Post breakfast, you leave for your last ride of the tour before returning to Hanoi. From here, you will cover Mau Due, Du Gia, and Bac Me and ride through the thrilling landscapes and have lunch in Bắc Me. After lunch, you ride to Davi and then to Ba Be. Check in upon arrival and have dinner. You stay overnight in Ba Be Lake Side Bungalow overlooking the Ba Be Lake.

  9. Day 9: Ba Be - Hanoi (165 kilometers / 103 miles)

    - Riding time: 4 hours 30 minutes After breakfast, you get on the boats to visit Ba Be Lake and return to the village. You proceed to Hanoi (and if time permits, you will visit the waterfall) and have lunch on the way. Upon arriving at the hotel, you will return the motorbikes, and the riders will check in to their room, while your staff will inspect the condition of the motorbikes. Leisure time for riders to explore the evening and nightlife of Hanoi.

  10. Day 10: Hanoi - Halong Bay Cruise Terminal (160 kilometers / 100 miles)

    - Driving time: 5 hours 30 minutes After breakfast, you embark on your two-day and one-night cruise. You get on the bus or van to proceed to the cruise terminal. After a stopover at the Pearl Museum, you will be dropped off at the cruise terminal. After a week of motorbiking, this is a much-needed break from the saddle to perfectly end your memorable Vietnam tour. While on the cruise, your meals are included in the package along with adventure activities like hiking, cave walking, boating, and kayaking.

  11. Day 11: Halong Bay Cruise Terminal - Hanoi (160 kilometers / 100 miles)

    - Driving time: 4 hours Once the cruise docks at the port around 11:00 a.m., your bus or van will take you to the hotel in Hanoi. You check into the hotel and are free to enjoy the rest of the day. Do remember to get some souvenirs for your loved ones. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

  12. Day 12: Hanoi - Hanoi Airport

    After breakfast, they will drop you off at the Hanoi International Airport for your return flight back home or your next destination. Please note that the transfers will be done according to the earliest flight departure of the participants. In case of odd timings, a packed breakfast will be provided. The tour concludes after riders are dropped off at the airport.
