Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Hoi An to Kham Duc (160 kilometers / 110 miles)

    Today, you will drive through the rice fields and then stop at Cham tower and historic American war sites. You will enjoy your trip along the Ho Chi Minh trail and visit pineapple plantations. After that, you will stop to swim and relax in a waterfall. You will continue into the highlands to visit an ethnic minority village. Afterward, you will continue into the highlands where you can learn about the civil war in Vietnam before 1975 as well as enjoy the breathtaking nature of the area. You will reach Kham Duc around 17:00 and stay overnight in the small town.

  2. Day 2: Kham Duc to Kon Tum (220 kilometers / 140 miles)

    You will travel to Kon Tum along highway 14 and the Ho Chi Minh Trail with beautiful scenic views, then stop to swim and relax in a waterfall. Along the way, you will visit other ethnic minority villages such as Tay, Nung, and Ba Na to learn about the traditions, customs, and cultures. You will continue following the Ho Chi Minh trail to visit the Wooden Church, which was built by the French from 1913 to 1918, and Rong House. At the end of the day, you will stay overnight in Kon Tum.

  3. Day 3: Kon Tum to Buon Ma Thuot (225 kilometers / 140 miles)

    Leaving Kon Tum to Buon Ma Thuot, you will explore the daily life of Ba Na and Ede ethnic minority village to learn more about the culture as well as the tradition. You will then visit ‘’the Eyes of Pleiku’’ sea lake, and rubber plantation, and then go to Buon Ma Thuot and visit Dak Lak Museum. You will stay overnight in Buon Ma Thuot.

  4. Day 4: Buon Me Thuot to Dray Sap and Lak Lake (120 kilometers / 74 miles)

    You will travel to the biggest waterfall in Vietnam, Dray Sap Waterfall, for relaxing and swimming. Then, you will visit the locals to learn how the people process coffee and taste the best coffee in Vietnam. In the afternoon, you will follow small roads to go to Lak Lake. You will stay overnight on natural Lak Lake where you can choose a resort or homestay with some lovely locals. You may probably drink beer with the locals.

  5. Day 5: Lak Lake to Da Lat (165 kilometers / 102 miles)

    Leaving Lak Lake to Da Lat, you can take a boat at additional costs to pass the lake to visit M’lieng ethnic minority village. You can also explore Jun village to learn more about the rural life of M’nong tribe for about an hour. You will stop on the mountain to see coffee plantations and beautiful nature, then head to Da Lat and visit Prenn Falls.

  6. Day 6: Da Lat to Nha Trang (135 kilometers / 84 miles)

    You will visit a flower garden, vegetable farms, and Than Tho Lake before leaving Da Lat. You will also enjoy Vietnamese coffee at a local café and stop over in K’ho minority village to see local people as well as the waterfall before arriving in Nha Trang.
