Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Ha Noi - Ba Be Lakes (230 kilometers / 143 miles; homestay)

    On the first day, you will visit the largest natural lake in Vietnam. They will take you to a place where few tours are headed. This area mainly ethnic Tay ethnic, Tay people here live mainly on forestation and fish farming in the Ba Be lakes. Their life here is very simple and they are completely satisfied with what is happening here. Your homestay will be on the side of the mountain overlooking at the lakes. Yes, it is perfect place for a cold beer after the long ride.

  2. Day 2: Ba Be - Bao Lac (165 kilometers / 103 miles; homestay)

    To save time on the trip, you will put your motorbikes on the boat and visit a lake together and start riding on the top of the lake and visit the stunning Puong cave. It is difficult to describe all the amazing nature during the journey, but today you will feel that all the activities that take place during the day are the highlight. You will stay at the Bao Lac Town where the local come and meet up for lunar market there, a great border town to visit.

  3. Day 3: Bao Lac - Dong Van (175 kilometers / 109 miles; homestay)

    Today will probably be a revolution for the journey. During this route, what you see you probably won’t see anywhere else; hydroelectric dams, the villages perched on towering mountains, and the children take care of each other when their parents go to the mountains to farm the corn. The Life there makes you feel like you are in the original village of the last century. You will spend the night in the hotel in town. This is the busiest town of the Ha Giang loops "border line”.

  4. Day 4: Dong Van - Ha Giang (185 kilometers / 115 miles; local hotel)

    “Happiness pass” That name says everything they want to convey to you. The road is created entirely made by human power, and today it deserves to be called a beautiful name and also one of the most beautiful passes in Vietnam. It has become the destination of many international visitors to Ha Giang and you will also be one of them. You will want to stop at all the roads you pass, because this is called a global geopark. You will stay at a homestay. You can have some small walk and ready for the happy water with the host after the Happiness Pass.

  5. Day 5: Ha Giang - Quang Binh (165 kilometers / 103 miles; local hotel)

    Your journey continues along the Vietnam – China border line. Continuing the journey will still be the rolling mountains typical of the northern mountains. You will be completely surprised by the dizzying changes in scenery and that’s also what makes them always love their work. You will see terraced fields winding and stretching everywhere on the roads they have planned for your trip. You will stay in the best hotel in town. This is an area where many different ethnic groups live together, like H’mong, red Dao, Nung, etc.

  6. Day 6: Quang Binh - Thac Ba Lake (155 kilometers / 96 miles; homestay)

    The next destination, you will visit a very impressive tourist attraction again. It's really beautiful and untouched. Thac Ba lake is home to the Dao ethnic people. Dao people here live by many different jobs, they absolutely have a business environment with the outside world, but they keep the national identity of their hospitality here. Your homestay will be by the lakes. You will have great lake view and boat cruise around the lake with cold beers when you arrive to Giang family.

  7. Day 7: Thac Ba Lake - Hanoi (168 kilometers / 104 miles; local hotel)

    After breakfast, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to the birds singing. You can also see fishermen rowing boats on the lake, and continue on the road to experience the lands where Vietnamese people live along the Red River. On the way back to Hanoi, they always choose roads passing through small villages so you can see how simple their daily life is right next to a sleepless city like Hanoi. You will finish your ride at 4:30 or 5 pm at their gara, then they will drop you off at your hotel with their van.

Accommodation

You will be accommodated in homestays and local hotels in twin and double rooms. Homestay rooms can vary, but all will have standard quality. The room can be from 2 to 5 in smaller houses or 10 riders in a bigger house. Only riders will share the rooms. If you're a couple, a double bedroom is available.
